During the official opening ceremony of Rock Museum, János Bródy, György Szörényi, Levente Szörényi, the three iconic members of the band “Illés,” donated their guitars to the museum. In accordance with the legacy of Illés, this event could be interpreted as a foundational moment. The guitars were placed in display cabinets by the members of Ivan and the Parazol, part of the new generation of musicians creating continuity between the two periods. Illés was one of the most important representatives of the beat era, and it was active during an important and comparatively long stretch of Hungarian rock history
